As well as taking a stadium tour and seeing what players such as Mario Gomez and Luiz Gustavo see on a daily basis – there are plenty of things for you to enjoy in Wolfsburg.

The AutoStadt is a great car and motor sport museum that will provide entertainment for hours even for those people not really interested in cars. There are plenty of games and attractions inside – it’s fun for all the family.

If you get to visit Wolfsburg in the summer – be sure to take part in some of the water sports that are a part of daily life here! Strap yourself onto a wakeboard and hang on!!

One of the best things about the stadium is its location. If you want to do a little sightseeing trip, this is the place to be. The beautiful “Wolfsburg Castle” is only about 500 meters north. However, THE thing to check out is the so-called “Autostadt” (Auto city) in between the stadium and Wolfsburg Central Station. One of the coolest automobile museums in Germany! Other options are “Volkswagen Auto Museum” or “Phaeno”, two other really fun museums near the stadium.

If you’re traveling with your kids, there are also two water fun parks to check out within close distance, “Allerpark” and “Monkeyman”. I would rather recommend the first one over the second one.

And finally an option for the real football fan: The VfL Wolfsburg fan museum which is right next to the stadium.

It might be obvious given that Volkswagen basically built the town, but there is a fair bit of automotive history here. In fact, the world’s largest car factory is in Wolfsburg and lies directly next to the stadium. They’ve got a museum and pavilions displaying the countless cars made in Wolfsburg, so if you’re a petrolhead then you can combine both football and cars here.
