The stadium is found on the east bank of the Vistula River, which is close to the centre of the city. If you are at the railway main station, it is 4 kilometres from the stadium and it is approximately 3 kilometres from the old town of Warsaw.

Public transport in the city is efficient and reliable, so you have a few different options to choose from. The best way to get to the stadium is by using the metro. It is only a couple minute walk from the Station Stadion Narodowy to the stadium and you get there via the M2 red line. This line goes all of the way through the city centre.

You can also utilise different bus and tram options. The majority of buses and trams that goes towards the east from the centre station and the Centrum tram stop will go past the stadium. Some of the better options include buses 158, 507 and 517 and trams 7, 9, 22, 24 and 25. The journey will take about 15 minutes and you need to get off at the Rondo Waszyngtona stop.

If you are going from the centre of old town, you can get the 226 bus and get off at either Zieleniecka or Kijowska, which is a journey of about seven minutes. You then will have to walk ten minutes to get to the stadium.

If you are coming straight from the airport, you can get the 175 bus to the city centre and then take one of the mentioned forms of transport to the stadium.

If you are planning on driving to the stadium, there are a number of designated parking locations that can be found on the National Stadium’s website.

The stadium is found a little bit out of town, around 3km from the old town city centre. Luckily you can get there very swiftly by the Metro. The red line (M2) runs right through the centre and you can take it straight to the stadium. You can also get on the tram lines: 7,9,22 and 24 and get taken straight to the stadium.
