To get to Lerkendal Stadion, you will have to make your way to the South of Trondheim, the city is located in. You will find the stadium about 2 kilometres from the centre of the city and a bit of a further distance from the central train station.

From the train station you are able to walk for about 30 minutes to reach the stadium if you follow the straight line road along by the Prinsens Gate, as well as the Elgeseter Gate south.

There is a bus service that you can use, with the buses numbered 8, 55, 60 and 66 from Prinsens Gate or Munkegata being the best options form the city centre. The bus only takes about five minutes to get to the stadium; the stop is called Lerkendal Stadion which makes it easier for away fans.

Other buses do go nearby the stadium if you are coming from elsewhere in the city. A bus that stops by Prof Brochs Gate will be sufficient.

There is a large car park that is found behind the main stadium stand but you may have trouble on match days getting a space.

The Trondheim Airport is nearly 20km to the east of the city centre and you can hop on a train to get to the city centre from the airport.

Unfortunately the stadium is around 2.5km outside the city centre itself, as a result the walk to the stadium, takes about 30 minutes. Luckily it is simple enough going in one straight line following Prinsens Gate and Elgeseter Gate south.

If you don’t feel like stretching your legs, there are plenty of different bus routes that will get you there, take bus 8, 55, 60, or 66 from Munkegata (or Prinsens Gate) in the city centre. The ride only takes about 5 minutes.
