I have been there twice, myself.  I can honestly say to you that I had no trouble getting into the arena.  I certainly had no issues while in the arena. 

The checkpoints leading to the entrance were done tastefully and in order.  There were absolutely no sign of threats, whatsoever – anywhere in the arena.
