What to expect from the Stade Marcel Picot crowd?

Nancy have been a bottom half Ligue 1 team for a couple of years now and the thrill of being promoted has worn off, and lacklustre performances on the pitch – have led to a lack of support inside the stadium, making the arena feel even smaller than it should be. There are some vocal fan groups – but they need the help from the rest of the crowd to inspire Nancy on to greatness. Continued Ligue 1 seasons is great for business but for the fans without the thrill of a title challenge or the nerves of a survival race – the season can fizzle out.

Nancy is not famous for its club history, but the people are still supportive of their team. It is actually pretty surprising—since the stadium is also relatively small—to be in such a warm ambiance. People here are nice and friendly, the stadium, the club and its supporters are all very simple and will make your evening and the match one of the best, even if the AS Nancy-Lorraine loses.
