The best restaurants are back in town – so just hop back on the U-Bahn and in minutes you will be surrounded by great options!

Andy’s Krablergarten is a great German style restaurant, that has so much more to it than its delicious Schnitzel! It’s affordably priced as well as serving big portions of hearty food!

If you are looking for a special place to start your day – you have to check out Mr Pancake…the clue is really in the name. It serves every type of pancake and crepe you can imagine and the portion sizes will keep you full for a long time.

If German food doesn’t do it for you, then you have to try Thalassa. This popular Greek restaurant is a frequent dinner spot for locals as well as tourists and brings a fresh taste of the Mediterranean to Munich!

At the metro line “Kieferngarten” (one exit before the station at the arena) there are a couple local restaurants. An Italian called “Pizzeria Fellini”, a Greek place called “Restaurant Mykonos” and a German place – “Gaststätte Bock”. All places are decent options.

Nevertheless, if you want to get the real Bavarian experience, you should visit one of the various “Bräustüberl” (brew houses) near “Marienplatz”. Simply get back to the city cinter via U6 metro line. Popular options are “Ratskeller”, “Weißes Bräuhaus” or “Haxnbauer”.

Inside the stadium there is a bistro with all the standard Bavarian favourites, plus pizza, pasta and the like. For the slightly less vanilla option, the U-Bahn Stüberl – next to the U-Bahn, you’ll be shocker to hear – is bouncing on matchdays as fans pile out of the station and congregate outside. There’s also a whole load of food trucks pull up to serve the thousands of fans, while is you sneak out of the station in the direction away from the stadium, the Heide Cafe is there right in front of you.
