If your legs are tired from walking round Montpelliers old town centre then why not take a break at ‘Burger et Blanquette’. As well as some delicious burgers the chef can whip up some reviving salads for you that will get you reenergised and back out on the cobbled streets before you know it!

For a more intimate and special experience, you have to find ‘Le Petit Jardin’. As the name suggests, it is a great garden, hidden away in the historic centre of Montpellier. With the shade of the trees and the view of the Cathedral – the atmosphere is almost as good as the food. Let the chef cook you some fine French food, sip on some wine, and enjoy the sun.

If you have had enough of French food and want to try something different – why not Argentinian? The Empanadas Club have created a fantastic environment to enjoy a meal in, with diners sitting at long wooden tables that really creates a sense of community and friendliness – the walls are decorated with Argentinian art and souvenirs – so you might forget you’re in France! If you have a sweet tooth then you have to go for their speciality – a Banana and Nutella Empanada!

There is nothing charming and worth attention around the stadium. The best decision you can make is to visit the city center. Visit L’idée Saveurs, an amazing restaurant and let the explosion of flavours start in your mouth. If you are on a budget, Les Casseroles en folie are a better idea. Delicious food for great prices will please even the most demanding people.
