At the venue itself, it’s the usual fair in terms of food or drink. It’s £4 for a pie, though there’s a decent selection (steak, chicken Balti and veggie) and hot dogs fetch a hefty £4.50 each. In terms of drink, you are expressly forbidden from bring your own. It’s only £4 for a pint of lager or cider, which is a lot better than many stadiums these days. If you’re feeling classy, it’s £5.50 for a small bottle of wine.

The Etihad is a newer stadium and has great facilities for food and drink with plenty of concourses with big plasma screens. The food isn’t as spectacular as the surroundings though it does have everything you expect from a modern football ground with hot dogs and pies. A pie will set you back around £4 a little more expensive than the national average, but a cup of tea is lower, costing £2.

City also have the Summerbee Bar outside the ground, acting as a Fanzone of sorts, serving drinks and food such as pizza, curries and burgers at decent prices before you go into the ground itself.
