The food and drink here is very similar to what you will find around the country. Burgers, Sausages and Fries are found in all of the many kiosks that line the concourses inside the stadium. It’s standard footballing fare, and while it’s nothing to get excited about – it does the job if you are felling peckish. There is beer, soft drinks and of course Red Bull to drink if you are thirsty!

It may come to your surprise, but the beer prices in Leipzig are compared to all the other Bundesliga venues the lowest ones. Half a liter of beer for only 3,50€ – possibly record-breaking amongst German football stadiums. Whereas fries are really cheap as well (2€), the good old German “Bratwurst” costs you an average price of 3€ a piece. Variety is not too great, but at least the prices are decent, thumbs up! Oh, and in case you were wondering – yes, they also sell Red Bull in the Red Bull Arena.

Say what you like about RB, you can’t quibble with the prices. The cheapest beer in the Bundesliga is to be found here, at just €3.50 a pint and €3 for soft drinks, though no questions were asked regarding the price of the eponymous energy drink. Bratwursts are also more than reasonable at €3. Note that this is a cashless stadium, so expect to have to load up a card with money and pay using that.
