Lots of Kilmarnock fans proudly take their kids to games, and there’s a great “thing to do” for them in town: the Jungle Madness Soft Play area. There’s loads going on – a whole variety of games, areas and activities – and all of them put the child’s safety first. There’s even a café for the adults which serves food and hot drinks.
An alternative has to be Dean Castle and the surrounding country park. Beautiful area and one of the most visited sites in the town, by far.

Kilmarnock is home to some wonderful parks and woods including Deans Castle – this is a wonderful place to spend the day, either kicking a ball around a preparing yourself for the game, or taking a stroll around it with your family!
Kilmarnock is also home to one of Scotlands best cookery schools! The Cook School offer fantastic days out where you can really get to grips with cooking some fantastic dishes and learning some new techniques. The best thing is, you can take all your food home with you afterwards – so dinner is sorted as well!
Otherwise you can head to the Scottish Paintball Centre! Either celebrate a victory with, or take out your frustration on your friends as you sneak around the Scottish countryside with a paintball gun at your side.
