German Restaurants are a common sight in Kaiserslaughten but if you are after a different flavour, you won’t be disappointed!

Ayame is an incredible sushi restaurant that serves all the classics…Sushi, Gyoza, Udon Noodles and the works. It can get a bit pricey if you come with an enourmous appitite but the flavours make it worth it.

Curry and trip to a game seem to go hand in hand, and there is a great curry house in the city so that you can carry on the tradition. Curry House K-Town has the best Indian food in the city – it’s a small place so you may want to book if you’re there on a weekend.

For something that’s pretty cheap, but packed full of flavour, Taco Kidd hits the spot. Set up a like a Chipotle or Qdoba restaurant – Taco Kidd lets you create your own enormous burritos and different combos of Tacos.

Kaiserslautern definitely has a huge variety of restaurants to offer. But if you’re looking for a place somewhat close to the stadium (about 500m), you may want to visit “Saigon Bistro”, a great Vietnamese place where you get amazing food for average prices.

Going 100m further you will discover an Italian (“La Venezia”) and a French place (“Le Galopin”) both also serving great international food, definitely worth a visit!

If you just need a snack or something really quick, there’s a place called “áPollo – chicken & more” right next to the stadium, only about 200m. Food is not as good as the other places but perfectly suitable for a quick snack.

The Fritz-Walter-Stadion is on top of the Betzenberg without much around it, but descend the hill and walk through the train station to reach the centre of Kaiserslautern. Here there are more than enough restaurants to keep you going, from Saigon Bistro for Vietnamese, Ristorante Filippo for Italian and Klex for modern bistro fare.
