I saw the Great Detroit Pistons teams of the mid 2000s which should have won more than one NBA championship. This team was considered the first team without a true star on it that won an NBA championship. This team was led by Chauncey Big Shot Billups, Richard RIP Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Ben Wallace, and others. They truly were a team that played great defense and passed the ball really well. You could tell they were all friends on and off the court and that they had each other’s back. Billups could hit shot after shot. The specific game I saw was them beating up the Milwaukee Bucks in Auburn Hills. This team had some feistiness to them and had Hamilton wearing his “Hannibal Lecter mask” Ben Wallace with his crazy hair and defense presence and the great Pistons fan base who were rejuvenated after the “Bad Boy” years.
