Things to check out around Ewood Park?

It’s not your usual recommendation I’m sure, but I think that something peaceful is often the best way to balance the adrenaline and fervour of a football game. The Canal Boat Cruises at Riley Green offer serenity, beautiful scenery and luxurious dining. Maybe a chance for a “his and hers” day out?

Conversely, you can immerse yourself fully into the football experience with a little stadium tour; they aren’t always open, but you can check the dates online and see if your visit is coincident with one!

You can go behind the scenes of Ewood park and get to grips with the clubs long and fairly successful history. With tours of the press boxes, players lounges and dressing rooms, all for £7.50 its a great day out.

If a day out at the football has inspired you go get outdoors then you have to check out Witton Country Park – a beautiful park with an adventure playground it is always popular, rain or shine.
