How do I get to Ewood Park?

You merrily skip there from a nearby pub, of course!

So for drivers, you can choose between parking near the stadium (around £5 per car) and having a slow start to your journey home, or industrial units a fair walk away for a similar price, with less leaving traffic. The roads immediately surrounding the stadium close after a game for half an hour, so if you choose to go to the stadium, don’t say you weren’t warned!

If you get the train into Blackburn, hop on another service to Mill Hill which is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the stadium.

There is car parking around the ground – but unless you have reserved a parking space, it does fill up quickly. Nevertheless, if you get to Ewood Park early and get a spot, it will cost you £10. Ewood Park is surrounded by a few industrial parks, and they have plenty of parking to for around £5.

You may have to watch out for a slow getaway though, with the roads around the stadium closed for around 30 minutes after the game for crowd safety.

Buses run from Blackburn city every 10 minutes, so if you see a number 1 or 24, hop on and you’ll be there in a jiffy.

The stations aren’t too near the stadium with Blackburn Station a 1.5 uphill walk to the ground. Mill Hill is closer and should only take you 10 minutes to walk.
