The atmosphere at Villa Park has been up and down in recent years. Historically the Birmingham crowd have provided a great atmosphere – but with a managerial round about, relegation and animosity toward the owner in recent years, the vibe at Villa Park has gotten a little flat.
There is no real separation as well between home and away fans, so sometimes there can be a bit of spice in the Doug Ellis Stand.

In general, you can rely on Villa to produce a crowd that wants to win, and wants to show every bit of support for the lads on pitch that they can! There’s no real separation of home and away fans, so if things do get a bit heated, then trouble could ensue. It’s usually more about banter and taking the mick out of each other though, so you shouldn’t have anything to worry about besides the colossal noise!
