The Rose Garden is world famous and it is the perfect place to have a nice walk and explore the amazing gardens. It is a particularly great spot for couple as it is romantic, with many people having gotten engaged here over the years. There is beauty and colour everywhere you look, allowing you to relax and forget about all of your problems. There are some nice restaurants looking over the gardens also if you manage to work up an appetite.

The Cathedral at Munsterplatz / St. Vincent is right in the heart of the old town and was built in the 15th century as a massive 328-foot high spire that sticks above the skyline of the city. It has beautiful stained glass that you will not see elsewhere and some of the artwork is simply breath-taking. The tour is a great option as it lasts two hours and you get complimentary glasses of wine along the way. It has amazing views of the city from the top.

Young Boys do offer up the chance to go behind the scenes and experience a snippet of life as a professional footballer with an extensive stadium tour. There are 3 tours available – Basic, Catering and Technology and unless you are really interested in the kitchens and food or the infrastructure of the stadium – the basic tour will show you all the highlights you would want to see! The tours have to be booked 7 days in advance however!
