Corsican are fond of football and they support passionately their two teams of Bastia and Ajaccio. Supporters there can be very friendly, but during the match, you better not disturb them as they can be quite insensitive. One thing to know about them is that they are very temperamental and easily get annoyed if you allow yourself too much. It is safer to be respectful when you pay them a visit.

The atmosphere is kept ramped up throughout the game by Bastia’s resident band of Ultras – both Bastia 1905 and Testa Mora 92. These groups of fans often bring banners and flags to the game as well as cheering their team on with many songs and chants. As a whole, the people of Corsica are a very proud people and this pride is reflected in their love for SC Bastia.
